Secaucus Police Officer Arrests One of Texas’ Most Wanted

On October 30, 2024, at 8:23 A.M., Secaucus Police Officer Robert Schaffer was on patrol in the area of Meadowlands Parkway and Wood Avenue. While on patrol, Police Officer Schaffer observed a man cause a safety hazard as he walked between multiple cars outside of a crosswalk, while other vehicles were traveling in both directions.

When stopped, the man was identifed as Tito Correa, 50, of Fort Worth Texas. A warrant check revelead that Tito Correa was wanted on the charge of Arson by the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office in Texas. Furthermore, Tito Correa was listed on Trarrant County’s Most Wanted List.

Tito Correa was placed under arrest and charged with being a Fugitive from Justice [2A:160-10] and issued a summons for Use of Designated Crosswalk [39:4-33]. He was lodged in the Hudson County Jail. The charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
