Last week's arrests and incidents as released by the Secaucus police.
On 02/18/2019 at 3:52 AM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 28 year old female, Mariah Jacoby of Hoboken, NJ for an outstanding warrant out of Wall Township, NJ in the amount of $890.00. Ms. Jacoby was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from custody.
On 02/18/2019 at 9:18 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 20 year old male, Sondy Polanco of Secaucus, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)], Possession of CDS believed to be Xanax [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Polanco was served his complaint summons along with 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from custody.
On 02/18/2019 at 6:34 PM, Officer’s from the Union City Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to transfer custody of a 21 year old male, Nelio Guzman of Jersey City, NJ for an outstanding warrant out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Guzman was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from custody.
On 02/19/2019 at 10:53 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 28 year old male, Tyleake Kinsler of Augusta, GA for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Mr. Kinsler was issued his complaint summons along with 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from custody.
On 02/19/2019 at 12:44 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Rockaway Township Police Department to take custody of a 32 year old male, Nicholas Koroly of Wharton, NJ for an outstanding warrant out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Mr. Koroly was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 02/19/2019 at 4:57 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 36 year old male, Moises Gonzalez of Paterson, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Mr. Gonzalez was served his complaint summons and was released from custody.
On 02/20/2019 at 5:03 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 35 year old female, Latoya Spruill of Newark, NJ for 2 outstanding warrants out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant out of West Orange, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Both the Newark Police Department and the West Orange Police Department did release Ms. Spruill on her own recognizance. Ms. Spruill was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and she was subsequently released from custody.
On 02/21/2019 at 7:26 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 34 year old male, Justin Oliver of Newark, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Oliver was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant out of East Orange, NJ in the amount of $500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant out of Orange, NJ in the amount of $300.00. Both the East Orange Police Department and the Orange Police Department did release Mr. Oliver on his own recognizance. Mr. Oliver was served his complaint summons and was released from custody.
On 02/21/2019 at 9:45 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of the Route 3 East Service Road on a report of a motor vehicle accident. During the investigation, the police arrested a 30 year old male, Michael Ruiz of North Bergen, NJ for an outstanding warrant out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $200.00. Mr. Ruiz was able to post bail for the involved warrant. Mr. Ruiz was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released from custody.
On 02/21/2019 at 9:49 AM, Secaucus Police observed a male in the area of Golden Avenue who was believed to have an outstanding warrant. During the investigation, the police arrested a 32 year old male, Michael Ambrosio of Secaucus, NJ for an outstanding warrant out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $3,500.00. Mr. Ambrosio was unable to post bail for the warrant and was transported to the Jersey City Police Department where custody was transferred to the Jersey City Police.
On 02/21/2019 at 11:24 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Office of the Division of Child Protection and Permanency located at 1 Harmon Meadow Blvd at the request of the Hoboken Police Department. Hoboken Police Department advised the Secaucus Police that it was possible there was an individual at that location that had an outstanding warrant out of their jurisdiction. During the investigation, the police arrested a 24 year old male, Shelron Martin of Rutherford, NJ for an outstanding warrant out of Hoboken, NJ with no bail. Officer’s from the Hoboken Police Department arrived at Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Martin.
On 02/22/2019 at 12:19 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 30 year old male, Semy Saintflorant of Linden, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Saintflorant was issued a complaint summons and was released from custody.
On 02/23/2019 at 4:55 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Home Depot on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 33 year old male, Mark Decesare of Woodland Park, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Theft by Deception [2C:20-4], Possession of CDS believed to be Heroin [2C:35-10A(1)] and 2 counts of Conspiracy [2C:5-2]. Mr. Decesare was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 02/24/2019 at 12:07 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Marshalls located at 400 Millcreek Drive on a report of a male on the premises who possibly had an outstanding warrant. During the investigation, the police arrested a 44 year old male, Nidal Elayan of Palisades Park, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant out of Paramus, NJ in the amount of $1000.00, 1 NCIC warrant issued by the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail and 1 NCIC warrant issued by the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Mr. Elayan was transported to the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office where custody of Mr. Elayan was transferred to the Hudson County Sheriff’s Department.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
