23-Year-Old Man Shot in Paterson

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In- Charge Isa Abbassi announce that at approximately 8:00 a.m. on October 25, 2024, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center on a report of a shooting victim arriving via private vehicle. Police were able to locate a 23-year-old male from East Orange, New Jersey, suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound. Police were able to determine a shooting took place in the area of Market Street and East 23rd Street.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
