1. On October 3, 2024, at approximately 1:55 a.m., Police Officers Marvin DeJesus and
Matthew Bonanno processed the arrest of 24-year-old Diana Noriega of Orange on a warrant out
of Hoboken for simple assault. Noriega had been arrested in Orange and was transported to
Hoboken Police Headquarters after the warrant was discovered. She provided bail and was
released with a new court date.
2. On October 4, 2024, at approximately 8:10 a.m., Sgt. Tyler Soto and Police Officers Jennifer
Lee, Daniela Simone, Valentino Salgado, Zackary Guido, and Carmen Benitez responded to
ShopRite, 900 Madison St., on reports of a shoplifting where the actor, later identified as 39-
year-old Christopher Pennetta of Jersey City, was in custody of store security officers. An onscene investigation revealed Pennetta put more than 20 toiletry items worth approximately
$184.45, into a shopping bag, walked past the registers, and toward the exit where he was
stopped by security. A search incident to arrest found wire copper mesh, a glass cylindrical pipe
burnt at one end, and two metal push rods. Pennetta was transported to Hoboken Police
Headquarters and processed on charges of shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia. He
was given a court date and released with a summons.
3. On October 5, 2024, at approximately 9:30 a.m., Police Officer Arturo Gonzalez was
conducting a detail check of Church Square Park, when he saw a man, he knew as 62-year-old
Michael Ramos of Hoboken drinking from a bottle of vodka. Ramos attempted to hide the bottle
as the officer approached. Ramos agreed to leave but when he came back a short time later, he
began to curse and yell. He was issued a summons for consumption of an alcoholic beverage
while in public view within a public park. It was discovered he had a warrant for his arrest out of
Hudson County. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and then to the Hudson
County Sheriff’s Office on the active warrant.
4. On October 6, 2024, at approximately 3 a.m., Police Officers Alexander Miller and Andrias
Bonilla responded to the area of First and Washington Streets on reports of a fight. When they
arrived, they observed a man later identified as 30-year-old Jonathan Diaz of Jersey City,
standing in a fighting position in the roadway. Another male in the area said that Diaz was
challenging him to a fight. Police Officers Anthony Ingraffia, Kyle Seper, Shyenna Vega, and
Mark Lombardi arrived on scene. They separated the two individuals, but more than once, Diaz
attempted to fight the other person. He was arrested and transported to Hoboken Police
Headquarters where he was charged with disorderly conduct. He was issued a complaint, given a
copy of the summons, and released from custody.
5. On October 6, 2024, at approximately 3:10 a.m., Police Officers Andrias Bonilla and Kyle
Seper responded to the area of Newark and Hudson Streets on reports of four people fighting.
They located the fight on the 50 block of Hudson Street and began to separate the parties. Lt.
Edward Sellick and Police Officers Marc Lombardi, Shyenna Vega, Domenick Allegretta,
Shawn Sedora, Teddy Santiago, Enrico Gnassi, and Matthew Bonanno arrived on the scene as
back up and for crowd control. Officers arrested four people, later identified as 22-year-old
Nicole Delhoyo of Hasbrouck Heights, 23-year-old Kayla Dupoux of Totowa, 24-year-old Alexa
Stanulis of Staten Island, and 25-year-old Nicole Defranco of Staten Island. Defranco pushed
officers as they were arresting Stanulis. All four were transported to Hoboken Police
Headquarters where Delhoyo, Dupoux, and Stanulis were charged with simple assault. Delfranco
was charged with aggravated assault on law enforcement. All the women were processed and
released with summonses.
6. On October 6, 2024, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Police Officers Kyle Seper and Remy
Garcia-Marte responded to Third and Bloomfield Streets on reports of a man standing in the
intersection yelling, pulling on door handles, and disturbing pedestrians walking by. Officers
located the individual, later identified as 47-year-old Jose Gonzalez Avila of Union City, and
approached him. It was discovered he had a warrant for failure to appear out of Union City, for
disorderly conduct. He was placed under arrest and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters.
He was ultimately transported to Union City Police Department on the warrant.
7. On October 6, 2024, at approximately 7:55 p.m., Police Officers Frank Losurdo and Michael
Bonanno responded to Church Square Park on reports of a fight. When they got there, a man
who was bleeding from his cheek told them he had been assaulted by a woman. The woman
identified as 50-year-old Patricia Lavacchi of Union City, approached officers. She was placed
under arrest and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters. She was charged with simple
assault, processed, and released with a summons and a court date.
8. On October 7, 2024, at approximately 2:10 a.m., Police Officers Alexander Miller and Nasir
Willey responded in the area of Third and Madison Streets on reports of a man trying to get into
parked cars. Police Officer Anthony Ingraffia arrived on the scene. Officers observed a man,
they identified as 50-year-old Kenneth Salazar of Union City and learned he had a warrant out of
Hoboken and one out of Hudson County. He was arrested and officers located a glass cylindrical
pipe in his sleeve. He was further charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He was
ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
9. On October 7, 2024, at approximately 6:45 a.m., Police Officers Anthony Ingraffia and
Enrico Gnassi responded to the Hoboken Shelter, 300 Bloomfield St., on reports of someone
needing to be removed from the premises. An on-scene investigation revealed two people were
involved in an argument, when one, later identified as 39-year-old Kevin Belmont of Hoboken,
sprayed pepper spray into the other person's eyes. Belmont was located outside, and officers took
possession of the pepper spray. He was placed under arrest. Police Officers Alexander Miller and
Nassir Willey arrived to assist. Belmont was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters. It was
discovered he had an active warrant for theft out of Hoboken. He was further charged with
aggravated assault, possession of weapons for unlawful purposes, unlawful possession of
weapons, and hindering. He was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
10. On October 7, 2024, at approximately 11:35 a.m., Police Officer Anthony Olivera and
Michael Aviles responded to Hoboken Police Headquarters to process the arrest of 39-year-old
Michael Valdes of North Bergen, who had been transported to Hoboken by North Bergen Police.
Valdes had an open warrant out of Hoboken for unlawful use of credit cards, conspiracy to use
credit cards, and receiving stolen property. The charges stem from two incidents of wallets being
stolen from River Street Garage, 80 River St., in February and April of 2024. A follow-up
investigation led by Police Officer Daniel Grossi identified Valdes as the actor in that case. He
was also found to have multiple warrants from Secaucus and one from Clifton. After being
processed on all the warrants on Oct. 7, Valdes was transported to the Hudson County
Correctional Facility.
11. On October 7, 2024, at approximately 12:35 p.m., Police Officers Geovanni Cruzado and
Joshua Campoverde responded to 2nd STREET USA, 200 Washington St., on reports of a
shoplifting in progress. Upon arrival employees pointed out the actor, later identified as 50-year-old Jose Santos of Union City, and it was learned he was seen trying to conceal a hat valued at
$39 in his pants leg. Santos was arrested for shoplifting. A search incident to arrest located a
cylindrical glass pipe and steel wool, commonly used to smoke CDS crack cocaine. He was
transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and processed on shoplifting and possession of drug
paraphernalia charges. It was discovered he had a warrant out of York County, PA. He was
transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
12. On October 8, 2024, at approximately 11:10 a.m., Sgt. Tyler Soto and Police Officers
Ronald Kibitlewski, Zackary Guido, and Carmen Benitez responded to McDonalds, 234
Washington St. on reports of someone harassing customers. They located the actor, later
identified as 43-year-old Hassan Seaborn of Avenel, holding the door open from the outside. An
on-scene investigation revealed that Seaborn entered the premises multiple times and each time,
harassed customers. Officers asked Seaborn to leave the area and informed him he was no longer
welcome inside McDonalds. As he walked away, he became angry and began to yell at officers.
He picked up a traffic cone and walked into the street before dropping it nearby. He then took
down his pants and boxers, exposing himself to numerous bystanders. He was placed under
arrest and continued to scream and become more irate. As officers attempted to put him in the
patrol car, he kept his foot hinged to the bottom of the door, to keep it open. When officers freed
the foot, he spit on them. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and charged with
throwing bodily fluid at law enforcement officers, lewdness, and disorderly conduct. He was
released from custody with a summons and court date.
13. On October 8, 2024, at approximately 3:05 p.m., Police Officers Tyrone Huggins and
Jessica Areballo responded to ShopRite, 900 Madison St., on reports of a shoplifting. Store
security witnessed a woman, later identified as 47-year-old Miriam Intriago of West New York,
place several items, valued at approximately $204, into her bags and try to leave without paying.
Security stopped her at the exit and detained her until officers arrived. Intriago was placed under
arrest and a search located two glass cylinder pipes with burnt Brillo inside and other pieces of
Brillo in her possession. She was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and charged with
shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia. It was discovered she had three warrants. One
out of Hoboken for failure to pay a prescribed fare, one out of West New York for simple
assault, and one out of Weehawken for failure to pay a prescribed fare. She was transported to
the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
14. On October 8, 2024, at approximately 7:05 p.m., Police Officers Harold Milne and John
Rodriguez responded to Fleet Feet, 604 Washington S., on reports of a shoplifting in which the
actor left with stolen merchandise and could be seen sitting on a bench in front of the store.
When officers arrived, they saw a man who fit a description of the suspect holding two packaged
foam rolling balls, worth approximately $50. The man, later identified as 55-year-old John
Cashin of Hoboken, became aggressive toward officers when they told him to turn over the foam
rollers. He was placed under arrest for shoplifting and transported to Hoboken Police
Headquarters where he was processed. He was released from police custody with a summons.
15. On October 9, 2024, at approximately 8:30 a.m., Police Officers Daniel Barron and Anthony
Olivera responded to the 500 block of Jackson Street on reports of a man pacing around a car,
looking into windows, and trying to open the car door. The man was then seen walking into a
building on the 600 block of Sixth Street. During a sweep of that building, officers observed a
man who matched the description of the suspect on the fourth floor. He would not provide
officers with his personal information and began to tense up his body and make incoherent
noises. He continued to talk to himself as officers tried to calm him down. Lt. David Olivera and
Police Officers Valentino Salgado and Jessica Arebalo arrived on the scene. The man was placed
under arrest. A search incident to arrest found him with 31 pills, suspected to be CDS
methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA), commonly known as molly. He was identified as
30-year-old Gabreth Floyd, of Hoboken. He was charged with possession of CDS, intent to
manufacture or distribute CDS, possession with intent to distribute CDS on or near school
property, possession with intent to distribute within 500 feet of certain public property, defiant
trespassing, and criminal attempted burglary. He was ultimately transported to the Hudson
County Correctional Facility.
16. On October 9, 2024, at approximately 9:55 p.m., Police Officers Joseph Spano and
Domenick Allegretta responded to Hoboken Police Headquarters to process the arrest of Tyrese
Buckhanon, who had been brought in by Harrison Police on a warrant for multiple incidents of
defiant trespassing. After processing, he was transported to the Hudson County Correctional
Facility.
