28-Year-Old Man Shot in Paterson

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In-Charge Isa Abbassi announce that at approximately 3:09 p.m. on October 16, 2024, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of 12th Avenue and East 22nd Street on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival to the area, Paterson Police were advised that a 28-year-old male from Paterson, New Jersey, suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound, arrived at to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, via private vehicle. Police were able to locate a potential crime scene.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
