21-Year-Old Man Shot in Paterson

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In- Charge Isa Abbassi announce that at approximately 9:17 p.m. on September 6, 2024, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Carroll Street and Harrison Street on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, Paterson police located a 21-year-old male from Paterson, suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound and was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center. Members of the Paterson Police Department were able to locate a potential crime scene.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
