In 2022, Detectives from the Secaucus Police Department joined the ranks of Internet Crimes Against Children [I.C.A.C.] Task Force - New Jersey, which is led by the New Jersey State Police.

In June of 2024, the Secaucus Police Department began to investigate a tip that an image depicting child sexual abuse material was uploaded/stored on a storage medium that was registered to Dominic Gravina, 64, of Secaucus. The investigation spearheaded by Detective Kristen Bronowich revealed that Dominic Gravina was the possessor of this image along with other images, depicting child sexual abuse material.

On September 4, 2024, members of the Secaucus Police Detective Division, assisted by the New Jersey State Police I.C.A.C. Unit executed a Court Authorized search of Dominic Gravina’s Koelle Boulevard residence. During the search, several electronic devices belonging to Dominic Gravina were seized.

Dominic Gravina was arrested and charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child [2C:24-4b(5)(b)(III)]. Pursuant to Criminal Justice Reform, he was released, pending his appearance in Court. The investigation is ongoing and additional charges may follow. This charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

“The Secaucus Police Department will continue to hunt child predators and bring them to justice, and my detectives have my unrelenting support.” Chief Dennis Miller said. “Possessing child sexual abuse material is repulsive and my detectives are committed to investigating crimes that exploit our most vulnerable population, our children.”
