Burglary
August 28, 2024 (Bellaire Drive): The victim’s reported that their residence was broken into during the overnight hours. Upon waking up at 6:15 AM, they discovered that their 2019 BMW X4 was missing from the driveway. Entry into the home appears to have been made through a first-floor porch window. Once inside the home, the suspect(s) located a set of keys to the BMW on a hook near the front door. Nothing was missing from the home other than the car keys and the car. The BMW was ultimately located, unoccupied, on August 31, 2024, in Lyndhurst, NJ.

Theft
August 28, 2024 (South Park Street): The complainant reported that his car keys were taken from the men’s locker room at Retro Fitness. When he returned to his vehicle, he discovered the car had been entered and the center console was open. Three debit cards were missing. An unauthorized charge was placed on one of his credit cards at Best Buy in Little Falls. Surveillance footage shows the suspect to be a black Male, approximately 6' 00” tall, wearing a bandana, black shirt, red/pink shorts, white socks with sandals.

Assault
August 29, 2024 (Orange Road): At approximately 2:30 AM, Officers and Montclair EMS were dispatched an Orange Road address on a report of a male down. Responding officers located a semi-conscious male suffering from severe facial injuries. He was missing approximately three teeth and had deep lacerations on his scalp. Officers canvassed the area and located signs of where the altercation occurred behind the South End Stores. He was transported to University Trauma Center for treatment. Arrests
September 2, 2024 (North Fullerton Avenue): A 24-year-old male from Fort Dix, NJ was charged with Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct following a dispute at Rand Park.

September 2, 2024 (Bloomfield Avenue): A 50-year-old female from Irvington, NJ was charged with Shoplifting from The Wine Guys.
