The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the West New York Police Department are investigating a sexual assault that occurred on Saturday, July 27, 2024.
The 40-year-old female victim reported she encountered an unknown male sometime around 1:30 a.m. in the area of Hudson Avenue and 51st Street. The female reported the male later grabbed her by her hair and then sexually assaulted her.
No arrests have been made at this time. This matter is actively being investigated by the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the West New York Police Department.
