On 08/13/2024 at 7:46 AM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police in relation to a theft of a motor vehicle from the Harmon Cove Towers reported to the police on 03/04/2023, the police arrested a 29-year-old male, Ian Berdugo of Clifton, NJ for Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)], Theft [2C:20-3A], Conspiracy to commit Burglary [2C:5-2A(1)] and Conspiracy to commit Theft [2C:5-2A(1)]. Berdugo was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On 08/14/2024 at 3:10 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the NJ State Police Barracks to take into custody a 30-year-old male, Anthony Riley of Jersey City for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ with no bail along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Pohatcong, NJ in the amount of $650.00 with a 10% option. The warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ was in relation to a Burglary into a truck that occurred at Calvin Klein located at 30 Enterprise Ave. on October 26, 2020. The warrant was issued for the charges of Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)], Criminal Mischief [2C:17-3A(1)] and Conspiracy to commit Burglary [2C:5-2A(1)]. Riley was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 08/15/2024 at 1:06 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Home Depot located at 1055 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 25-year-old female, Chelsea Terhune of Union City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(5)]. Terhune was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On 08/16/2024 at 7:41 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Washington Township Police Department to take into custody a 25-year-old male, Jermaine Maddox of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $600.00. Maddox was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.
On 08/17/2024 at 4:33 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 34-year-old male, Tyquan Lacaille of Brooklyn, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)], Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(1)] and Possession of Burglar Tools [2C:5-5A(2)]. Lacaille was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On 08/17/2024 at 9:14 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Long Shot located at 375 County Avenue on a report of dispute between a patron and an employee. It was further reported to the police that one of the involved individuals pointed a firearm at the other involved party. During the investigation, the police arrested a 35-year-old male, Jonathan Rojas of Jersey City, NJ for Aggravated Assault [2C:12-1B(4)], Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose [2C:39-4A(1)] and Unjustifiable Display of a Handgun [2C:58-4.4A(5)]. Mr. Rojas was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
