Cultural Activities for the Week of July 29, 2024

By the end of the class, you will be able to

* Speaking practice with native speakers

Let’s meet to eat, talk and get acquainted while playing an “ice breaker” game.
Date: This Thursday, if not cancelled.
Time: 11 AM to 12:30 PM
Optional: Order your food ahead of time online.

Join us at the Zen Haus Cafe in Ridgewood for a local language exchange! Practice the language of your choosing with other language-learners such as yourself! Our exchange is held biweekly (every other week) on Thursdays at 6:30 PM at Zen Haus in Ridgewood, NJ.

Weekly meeting at Panera, 15 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair. We normally sit at the big table in the back.

If you are learning Italian and want to practice speaking, this meeting is for you! We are at all different levels, here. The important thing to is come to a meeting and don't worry about making mistakes! Speak!

Bonjour les amis. Let's gather together for casual conversation in French. We will meet at the West Orange public library in the literacy room. If you don't know where that room is you can ask the desk clerk in the library. If the group wants we will play one of the French games. If no one is into a game that day then we just sit and chat.

Language & cultural exchange! For friendly people of all cultures who want to socialize and practice speaking and listening in a language. We do social activities like games, play music, do karaoke, recite poetry, read aloud, discuss language and culture etc. This day, we will have a party with food, singing, dancing, and games. Free to bring food to share, but not required.
