On 07/22/2024 at 6:48 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of 1307 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a dispute. During the investigation, the police arrested a 52-year-old male, Sergio Menendez of Secaucus, NJ for Simple Assault [2C:12-1A(1)]. The police also arrested a 24-year-old male, Trent Corbett of Paterson, NJ for Criminal Mischief [2C:17-3A(1)]. Both Mr. Menendez and Mr. Corbett were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.

On 07/23/2024 at 1:41 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 26-year-old male, Derek McDonald of East Orange, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union, NJ in the amount of $750.00. Mr. McDonald was able to post bail for the involved warrant. Mr. McDonald was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and he was released from police custody.

On 07/24/2024 at 9:45 AM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Detective Division in relation to an incident of Sexual Assault that occurred on Seaview Drive on 05/03/2024, the police arrested a 48-year-old male, Christopher White of Philadelphia, PA for Sexual Assault [2C:14-2C(1)]. Mr. White was taken into custody in Kearny, NJ. Mr. White was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 07/24/2024 at 9:33 PM, the Secaucus Police located a vehicle with a stolen license plate in the area of Meadowlands Parkway and 10th Street. A motor vehicle stop of the involved vehicle was conducted in the area of 217 Route 3 East. During the investigation, the police arrested a 26-year-old female, Erykah Harmon of Paterson, NJ for Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A]. Ms. Harmon was found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $3,500.00 with a 10% option. The police also arrested a 34-year-old male, Christopher Stamp of Paterson, NJ for Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information to the police and Possession of CDS believed to be Ecstasy [2C:35-10A(1)]. Mr. Stamp was also found to have 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office with no bail and 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Clifton, NJ in the amount of $2,250.00. The Newark Police Department did release Ms. Harmon on her own recognizance pending a future court date. Ms. Harmon was issued her complaint summons along with 1 motor vehicle summons and she was released from police custody. Mr. Stamp was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 07/25/2024 at 1:15 PM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Detective Division in relation to a theft incident that occurred at T-Mobile located at 85 Plaza Centre Road, the police responded to the Roadway Inn located at 155 Route 3 East and arrested a 37-year-old male, Michael Weiler of Secaucus, NJ for Theft [2C:20-3A]. Mr. Weiler was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 07/26/2024 at 11:40 AM, Secaucus Police was advised by the Cedar Grove Police Department of an individual residing in this jurisdiction that had an outstanding warrant issued out of their agency. The police responded to 100 Park Plaza Drive and arrested a 43-year-old female, Estefania Soria-Diaz of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Cedar Grove with no bail. Officer’s from the Cedar Grove Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Ms. Soria-Diaz for transport back to their authority.

On 07/26/2024 at 2:42 PM, the Secaucus Police Anti-Crime Unit responded to My Spot Vape and Smoke Shop located at 10 Meadowlands Parkway and arrested a 29-year-old male, Rajesh Bayyalo of Jersey City, NJ for 2 counts of Possession with intent to Distribute CDS believed to be Marijuana and THC products, 2 counts of Possession of CDS believed to be Psilocybin [2C:35-10A(5)] and Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(3)(B)]. Mr. Bayyalo was issued his complaint summons and was subsequently released from police custody.

On 07/27/2024 at 2:14 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of 105 Enterprise Ave on a report of a motor vehicle crash. During the investigation, the police arrested a 31-year-old male, Mentalvin Mata-Sanchez of Guttenberg, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50] and Assault by Auto [2C:12-1C(2)]. Mr. Mata-Sanchez was issued his complaint summons along with 7 motor vehicle summonses and he was subsequently released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On 07/28/2024 at 10:42 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 50-year-old male, Phillip Realpe of Jersey City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)], Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-1A] and Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(2)]. Mr. Realpe was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
