Job Posting - Public Information Officer

The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office has an opening for a Public Information Officer. The ideal candidate must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Primary responsibilities include drafting press releases, responding to media inquiries, arranging press conferences and updating social media platforms.

The successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree and experience in either communications, journalism or media relations. Prior public information experience a plus. Salary commensurate with experience. Competitive benefit package.
