Last week's arrests and incidents as released by the Secaucus police.
On Nov. 4 at 7:48 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus police arrested a 32-year-old male Alec Wells of Jersey City for one outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the Hudson County Sheriff's Office with no bail. He was issued one motor vehicle summons and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Nov. 4 at 10:17 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus police arrested a 55-year-old female of Jersey City for one outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen in the amount of $500 and one outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City in the amount of $100.00 with a 10% option. He was able to post bail for the involved warrants, was issued four motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody. Unknown what warrants were for.
On Nov. 4 at 4:48 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus police arrested a 37-year-old female of West New York for one outstanding warrant issued out of Scotch Plains in the amount of $750. She was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued three motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On Nov. 4 at 6:17 p.m., Secaucus police responded to Macy's Logistics and Operations located at 500 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of a dispute involving an employee. During the investigation, the police arrested a 23-year-old male of West Orange for one outstanding warrant issued out of Newark in the amount of $100. The Newark Police Department released him on his own recognizance pending a future court date and he was released from police custody.
On Nov. 4 at 6:45 p.m., Secaucus police responded to Krauszer's located at 40 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of a verbal dispute involving a customer. During the investigation, the police arrested a 41-year-old male of Brooklyn for one outstanding warrant issued out of Union City in the amount of $200. The Union City Police Department released him on his own recognizance pending a future court date and he was released from police custody.
On Nov. 5 at 1:12 p.m., Secaucus police responded to Rent The Runway located at 100 Metro Way on a report of a theft. During the investigation, the police arrested a 22-year-old female of Newark for one outstanding warrant issued out of Kearny in the amount of $600. She was unable to post bail for the involved warrant. Officers from the Kearny Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to take custody of the woman for transport to their authority.
On Nov. 5 at 9:23 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus police arrested a 50-year-old male Leonardo Hernandez of Union City for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. He was served his complaint summons along with two motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On Nov. 6 at 1:52 p.m., Secaucus police responded to Macy's Logistics and Operations located at 500 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of an employee theft. During the investigation, the police arrested a 46-year-old male, Raul Lorenzo of Union City, NJ for Theft [2C:20-3A]. Mr. Lorenzo was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On Nov. 8 at 10:22 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 24 year old female, Lily Bruenjes of Jersey City, NJ along with a 23 year old female, Nikole Harlin of Union City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)]. Both Ms. Bruenjes and Ms. Harlin were served their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.
On Nov. 9 at 12:29 p.m., Secaucus police responded to Headz Up located at 125 Castle Road on a report of an activated burglar alarm. During the investigation, the police arrested a 47 year old male of Little Ferry, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Bay Head Boro, NJ in the amount of $350.00 with a 10% option. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant and he was released from police custody. Unknown what warrant was for.
On Nov. 9 at 1:44 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus police arrested a 34-year-old female, Leandra Semedo of Newark for one outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the New York Police Department with full extradition. Ms. Semedo was charged with being a Fugitive from Justice [2A:160-10] along with Possession of a Hypodermic Needle [2C:36-6A]. Ms. Semedo was served her complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Nov. 11 at 8:21 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus police arrested a 20-year-old male, Muhammad Rohan of Bayonne for one outstanding warrant issued out of Interlaken Boro, NJ in the amount of $497.00 and one outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $50.00. Mr. Rohan was also charged with Possession of CDS believed to be Oxycodone [2C:35-10A(1)]. Mr. Rohan was able to post bail for the involved warrants, was served his complaint summons along with three motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
