Secaucus Police Blotter 10/14/2019 - 10/20/2019

Last week's arrests and incidents as released by the Secaucus police.

On 10/15/2019 at 5:15 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Hamilton Police Department to take into custody a 30 year old male, Mohammed Zeidan of Trenton, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $300.00. Mr. Zeidan was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 10/16/2019 at 8:10 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 23 year old male, Shawn Worrell of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $250.00. Mr. Worrell was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 3 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.

On 10/17/2019 at 9:12 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 19 year old male, Jeancarlo Cano of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $100.00. The Jersey City Police Department did release Mr. Cano on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Mr. Cano was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 10/18/2019 at 8:57 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 28 year old male, Marc Parra of Jersey City, NJ for 4 outstanding warrants issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $950.00. Mr. Parra was also found to have 1 additional outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ with no bail, along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hillsdale, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Sayreville, NJ in the amount of $500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Sparta, NJ in the amount of $300.00. Mr. Parra was also charged with Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Mr. Parra was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 10/19/2019 at 3:16 AM, Secaucus Police responded to 700 County Avenue on a report of a noise complaint. During the investigation, the police arrested a 42 year old male, Nathan Brown of East Orange, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out Essex County with no bail. Mr. Brown was also charged with Possession of CDS believed to be Heroin [2C:35-10A(1)]. Mr. Brown was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 10/20/2019 at 8:59 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Guttenberg Police Department to take into custody a 32 year old male, Abdullah Akyol of Clifton, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Wood Ridge, NJ in the amount of $750.00. Mr. Akyol was able to post bail for both warrants and was released from police custody.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
