Case updates April 30, 2024

On April 17, 2024, Millburn Police Officer Kelley responded to Macy's in Short Hills on a report of theft that just occurred. Macy’s associates reported that Xhevahire Zenuni, age 30, of Roselle Park, concealed $124.00 of merchandise and left the store without paying. The suspect was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting.

On April 20, 2024, Millburn Police Officer Dalakian responded to Macy's in Short Hills on a report of theft that just occurred. Macy’s associates reported that Justin Munoz, age 20, of Peth Amboy, carried away $138.00 of merchandise and left the store without paying. A search incident to arrest revealed that he was carrying, more than 50 grams of marijuana, a digital scale, and small plastic baggies The suspect was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting, possession of CDS, distributing CDS, and Hindering his prosecution.

On April 21, 2024, Millburn Police Officer Matos responded to Macy's in Short Hills on a report of theft that just occurred. Macy’s associates reported that Segundo Momotoa, age 39, of North Plainfield, concealed $134.00 of merchandise and left the store without paying. The suspect was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting.

On April 25, 2024, Millburn Police Officer Seebohm responded to Sephora in Short Hills on a report of theft that just occurred. Sephora associates reported that Jo-Mei Fisher, age 24, of Jersey City, concealed $299.00 of merchandise and left the store without paying. The suspect was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting.

Millburn police responded to a burglary of a residence on Winthrop Road that occurred in the evening hours on April 25th. The resident was not home at the time. The investigation revealed that someone had forced entry into the residence. This incident remains under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On April 27, 2024, Millburn Police Officer Zonn responded to Sephora in Short Hills on a report of theft that just occurred. Sephora associates reported that Keilyn Menjivar, age 19, and Soila Avaloseesquivel, age 22, both from Orange concealed $560.00 of merchandise and left the store without paying. They were placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting.

On the morning of April 28, 2024, Milburn Officer Dalakian responded to the field behind the Millburn library on a report of a suspicious male. The male was sleeping on the field and stated he was waiting for the library to open. He provided police with a false name. The Investigation revealed that he had an active arrest warrant out of Morris County. He was arrested, charged with Hindering and trespassing, and released to the Morris County Prosecutor's office.


These are accusations. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they enter a guilty plea or are found guilty in a court of law.
