SECAUCUS, NJ - A lucky Powerball player just won the second-tier prize in the April 27, 2024 drawing. He matched all five of the white balls earning him the $1,000,000 prize. The winning numbers were 09, 30, 53, 55, 62, with the Power Ball number being 23.
The ticket was purchased at the Te-Amo liquor store at 1299 Paterson Plank Road in Secaucus. The identity of the winner has not yet been revealed.
Secaucus may soon earn the reputation of being a beacon of good fortune, as this is the second time a winning lottery ticket has been purchased in this small town in recent months. Just earlier in the year during January, a ticket hitting Jersey Cash 5's $100,000 jackpot was sold just a few doors down at the nearby GroMart. This coincidence will likely lead to more Secaucus residents trying their luck.
