Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In- Charge
Isa Abbassi announce that at approximately 1:20 a.m. on April 25, 2024, members of the Paterson
Police Department were alerted to a shooting while they were in the area of North 10th Street and
Clinton Street. Shortly thereafter Paterson Police were notified that a 27-year-old male from
Paterson, New Jersey arrived at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in a private vehicle for
treatment of a non-fatal gunshot wound. Members of the Paterson Police Department were able to
locate a potential crime scene in the area.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes
available.
