Man Charged with Sex Crimes Involving 4 Juveniles

The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit has arrested and charged a Bayonne man with committing sex crimes on four female juvenile victims.

Anthony Lashley, 38, is charged with two counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2a(1); Aggravated Sexual Assault in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2a(2)(a); two counts of Sexual Assault in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2c(4); Sexual Assault in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2c(3)(a); two counts of Sexual Assault by Contact in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2b; three counts of Criminal Sexual Contact in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:14-3b; and five counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:24-4a.

The crimes occurred on multiple occasions between 2017 and 2024 in Jersey City and Bayonne. The four victims were under the age of 18. Lashley was first arrested on charges involving two of the victims on February 22, 2024. During the investigation, an additional two victims were identified. Lashley was charged in those matters on April 9, 2024. He remains in custody at the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

This matter is actively being investigated by the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit.
