Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In- Charge
Isa Abbassi announce that at approximately 3:33 p.m. on March 26, 2024, members of the Paterson
Police Department were dispatched to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New
Jersey on a report of a 15-year-old seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound. A suspected
crime scene was located in the area of North 8th Street and Oxford Street in Paterson, New Jersey.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes
available.
