One Killed and One Injured In Motor Vehicle Collision In Totowa

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Totowa Police Chief Carmen Veneziano report that on March 13, 2024, at approximately 2:00 p.m., members of the Totowa Police Department responded to Route 46 East near the Union Boulevard Exit in Totowa, New Jersey on a reported motor vehicle collision. A 2014 Acura MDX operated by a 22-year-old male collided with a 2008 Yamaha R6 motorcycle carrying two occupants, both 19-year-old males. Both occupants of the motorcycle were transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson. The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased. The passenger was admitted in stable condition. The driver of the Acura MDX did not sustain any injuries.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
