Subsequently, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit conducted an investigation that involved a search of LEONARD LIEBMANN’s electronic devices, which revealed that LIEBMANN viewed, downloaded, and/or possessed items depicting nude and/or sexually explicit prepubescent and pubescent children. In addition, the search revealed LIEBMANN shared items depicting nude and/or sexually explicit prepubescent children. As a result of the investigation, on March 12, 2024, LIEBMANN was charged with second-degree possession of child pornography, N.J.S.A. 2C:24-4(b)5(b)(ii); and second-degree distribution of child pornography, N.J.S.A. 2C:24-4(b)5(a)(i). LIEBMANN was served with a complaint-warrant at the Southwoods State Prison, where he remains in custody.
