Last week's arrests and incidents as released by the Secaucus police.

On 09/16/2019 at 12:13 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Hudson Bread located at 1001 Riverside Station Boulevard on a report of a suspicious male. During the investigation, the police arrested a 53 year old male, Gregory George of Newark, NJ for 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $250.00. Mr. George was additionally charged with Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(3)(A)] and Terroristic Threats [2C:12-3B]. Mr. George was served his complaint warrant. Officers from the Hudson County Correctional Center transported Mr. George to the Hudson County Jail.

On 09/17/2019 at 9:39 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 28 year old male, Tony Porter of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Seaside Heights, NJ in the amount of $651.00. Mr. Porter was additionally charged with Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Mr. Porter was served his complaint summons and was subsequently released from police custody.

On 09/18/2019 at 8:37 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 29 year old male, Amad Bogar of Newark, NJ for 3 outstanding warrants issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $1,050.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Woodland Park, NJ in the amount of $250.00. Both the Newark Police Department and the Woodland Park Police Department did release Mr. Bogar on his own recognizance. Mr. Bogar was issued 4 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently released from police custody.

On 09/18/2019 at 5:47 PM, Secaucus Police observed a suspicious vehicle parked within the parking lot of the La Quinta Inn located at 350 Lighting Way. During the investigation, the police arrested a 26 year old male, Brandon Gunsallus of Williamsport, PA for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Gunsallus was served his complaint summons and was subsequently released from police custody.

On 09/19/2019 at 6:01 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Home Depot located at 1055 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 79 year old male, Eugenio Brito-Comendador of Hoboken, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Weehawken, NJ in the amount of $130.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Brito-Comendador was also charged with Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)], Possession of Burglar Tools [2C:5-5A(2)] and Defiant Trespass [2C:18-3B]. Mr. Brito-Comendador was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 09/20/2019 at 3:23 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of New County Road and Seaview Drive on a report of a vehicle stopped at the intersection with the operator of the vehicle possibly asleep. During the investigation, the police arrested a 28 year old male, Devon Jacobs of West Orange, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Jacobs was served his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with 2 additional motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On 09/20/2019 at 4:15 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 26 year old male, Kevin Valverde of Union City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Valverde was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was subsequently released from police custody.

On 09/20/2019 at 9:00 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of 300 Route 3 East on a report of a disabled vehicle stopped in the right lane. During the investigation, the police arrested a 36 year old male, Miguel Cuadrado of Philadelphia, PA for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Cuadrado was served his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with 3 additional motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On 09/21/2019 at 11:19 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Roadway Inn located at 155 Route 3 East on a report of a male acting disorderly on the premises. During the investigation, the police arrested a 54 year old male, Vaughn Haye of Little Ferry, NJ for Disorderly Conduct [2C:33-2A(2)] after Mr. Haye began to run onto Route 3 East. Mr. Haye was served his complaint summons and was subsequently released from police custody.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
