News Update from the Mayor

Hello. This is Mayor Mark Zinna with a Friday news update.
CSX, the owners of the railroad tracks in town, will be upgrading the road surface of the crossing at Riveredge Road. We are waiting for a precise soon to be start date, but expect most of the work to take place on a weekend. As soon as we have more details, we will share with everyone.
Congratulations to the High School Ice Hockey team who won their opening round game this week vs Newton 8 to 1. They host Wayne tonight at 7pm at Mackay Arena in Englewood.
Tomorrow, Saturday, at 2:00 pm at the Senior Center come celebrate the Year of the Dragon. The Tenafly Singers are holding a concert celebrating The Lunar New Year. They will be singing selected choral music in Mandarin, English, French and Latin. Doors open at 1:30. Tea and Light snacks will be served.
The Recreation program guide for Spring and Summer sports, programs, and camps is available now. Registration begins Monday, February 26th. Visit the Borough website under Parks & Recreation for more information.
