Secaucus Police Blotter 09/02/19 - 09/08/19

Last week's arrests and incidents as released by the Secaucus police.

On 09/03/2019 at 4:14 PM, Secaucus Police responded to 595 County Avenue on a report of a male possibly on the premises that had an outstanding NCIC warrant. During the investigation, the police arrested a 38 year old male, Robert Gannon of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the Intensive Supervision Program. Mr. Gannon was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 09/05/2019 at 1:32 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Red Roof Inn located at 15 Meadowlands Parkway on an investigation of credit card fraud. During the investigation, the police arrested a 21 year old male, Justice Hooper of Jersey City, NJ for Possession of Incomplete Credit Cards [2C:21-6F] and Forgery [2C:21-1A(2)]. Mr. Hooper was also found to have an active warrant from Carlstadt with a bail of $1,000.00 and Hasbrouck Heights with a bail of $600.00. Mr. Hooper was served his complaint warrant and was transported to the Hudson County Jail. The police also arrested a 21 year old female, Kemiran Bryant of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Middletown, NJ for $750.00. The Middletown Police Department did release Ms. Bryant on her own recognizance and she was subsequently released from police custody.

On 09/06/2019 at 10:29 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, the police arrested a 27 year old male, Jonathan Lopez of North Bergen, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Lopez was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Wall Township in the amount of $600.00. The police also arrested a 30 year old male, Benny Espinal of Union City, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Espinal was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $750.00. Mr. Lopez was served his complaint warrant along with 2 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. Mr. Espinal was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued his complaint summons and was subsequently released from police custody.

On 09/06/2019 at 1:54 PM, Officer’s from the Secaucus Police were at Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a follow up investigation for an unrelated incident. During this investigation, the police arrested a 21 year old male, Tyreke Callender of Jersey City, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Mr. Callender was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 09/07/2019 at 3:31 AM, Officer’s from the Secaucus Police Department responded to the Belleville Police Department to take into custody a 33 year old female, Angelica Garcia of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $2,500.00. Ms. Garcia was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail

On 09/07/2019 at 8:37 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, the police arrested a 19 year old male, Ernesto Melo of Rahway, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Melo was served his complaint summons along with 2 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently released from police custody.

On 09/07/2019 at 9:40 PM, Secaucus Police observed 2 suspicious males in the parking lot of the Red Roof Inn located at 15 Meadowlands Parkway. During the investigation, the police arrested a 32 year old male, Bruce Burns of Madrid, NY for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Being under the Influence of a CDS [2C:35-10B]. Mr. Burns was served his complaint summons and was subsequently released from police custody.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
