Secaucus Police Blotter 01/01/2024 to 01/07/2023

On 01/01/2024 at 11:03 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the 800 block of 7th Street on a report of a dispute where one individual was reportedly being threatened with a knife. During the investigation, the police arrested a 70-year-old male, Mario Robiolio of Secaucus, NJ for Terroristic Threats [2C:12-3B], Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose [2C:39-4D], Unlawful Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5D] and Simple Assault by Menace [2C:21-1A(3)]. Mr. Robiolio was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 01/04/2024 at 11:29 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Route 3 East in the area of Plaza Centre on a report of a motor vehicle crash. During the investigation, the police arrested a 21-year-old male, Steven Saldivar of Union City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ in the amount of $750.00. Mr. Saldivar was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.

On 01/04/2024 at 10:58 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 36-year-old female, Alicia Zalewski of North Arlington, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)]. Ms. Zalewski was issued her complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 01/05/2024 at 5:16 PM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Anti-Crime Unit in relation to a theft of a trailer that occurred on 01/03/2024 at UPS located at 493 County Avenue, the police arrested a 36-year-old male, Eddie Maye of Union, NJ for Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A]. Mr. Maye was taken into custody after entering Secaucus Police Headquarters located at 1203 Paterson Plank Road. Mr. Maye was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union, NJ for $750.00. Union did release Mr. Maye on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Mr. Maye was issued his complaint summons and he was released from police custody.

On 01/07/2024 at 7:39 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Best Buy located at 3 Mill Creek Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 28-year-old male, Jonathan Colon of Newark, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)]. The police also arrested a 33-year-old male, Raymond Lopez of East Newark, NJ for Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)]. Both Mr. Colon and Mr. Lopez were issued their complaint warrants and were subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
