News Update from the Mayor
December 29, 2023

Hello. This is Mayor Mark Zinna with a Friday news update.

Today is Tenafly High School Graduate Edan Alexander’s 20th birthday. I would like to send our heartfelt wishes and prays for his safe return home to his family. Edan, along with others, is still being held hostage, and is not able to celebrate his birthday with his family. We are praying for their release, and we thank all those working for their safe return.

The Recycling Center will be open with regular hours this Saturday. On Sunday the Recycling Center will be open from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. Both the DPW and the Recycling Center will be closed on Monday January 1st.

The Nature Center trails are open all weekend for your enjoyment. The Visitors Center will be closed on Monday, January 1, but the trails will be open and admission is waived. All end of year donations are welcome. Check out the new tenaflynaturecenter.org website for news about all upcoming programs this winter season.

Stand Up for the Arts at the Kaplen JCC on Saturday, February 10th at 7 pm. This fun evening will feature Michael Rapaport with special guests, Sarge the Comedian and others!
