Nutley, NJ Man Charged With Aggravated Criminal Sexual Contact and Endangering the Welfare of a Child

Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of DONALD KUMAR DAVIS (DOB: 03/17/1990; single; strength and speed coach) of Nutley, NJ on charges of aggravated criminal sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Washington Township Police Department under the direction of Chief Richard Skinner.

On Wednesday, December 13, 2023, the Washington Township Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding the alleged sexual assault of a juvenile. An investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Washington Township Police Department revealed that DONALD KUMAR DAVIS sexually assaulted a child in Washington Township, NJ on two occasions and in Wyckoff, NJ on one occasion.

As a result of the investigation, on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, DAVIS was arrested in Paramus, NJ and charged with two counts of second-degree aggravated criminal sexual contact, N.J.S.A. 2C:14-3a; and two counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, N.J.S.A. 2C:24-4a(1). DAVIS was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, NJ.

Prosecutor Musella states that the charges are merely accusations and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. He would like to thank the Washington Township Police Department for its assistance in this investigation.
