Armed Robbery In the Area of Passaic Street and St. Francis Way

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Passaic Police Chief Luis A. Guzman announce that at approximately 5:46 p.m. on April 5, 2023, members of the Passaic Police Department responded to a business located in the area in the of Passaic Street and St. Francis Way in Passaic, New Jersey on a report of a robbery in progress. Upon arrival, a female employee advised the police that a male entered the business, pointed a gun at her and demanded money from the cash register. A male employee told police that the gunman fired a shot which struck a file cabinet, then fled the business.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
