Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In-Charge Isa Abbassi announce that at approximately 11:50 a.m. on May 10th, 2023, members of
the Paterson Police Department were advised that a 34-year-old female Paterson resident arrived
at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey seeking treatment for a
non-fatal gunshot wound. The location of this incident is still under investigation.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it
becomes available.
