Man Found Dead in Area of 18th Avenue and East 28th Street in Paterson, NJ

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In-Charge Isa Abbassi announce that on May 21, 2023, at approximately 8:30 a.m., members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of 18th Avenue and East 28th Street in Paterson, New Jersey on a report of a suspicious vehicle. Upon their arrival, officers located a 33-year-old male from Paterson in the driver seat of a vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

This investigation is active and ongoing. More information will be released when it becomes available.
