Woman Killed in a Hit and Run in Woodland Park, NJ

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Woodland Park Chief of Police John Uzzalino announce that on October 15, 2023, at approximately 7:35 p.m., the Woodland Park Police Department was notified of a hit and run motor vehicle incident in the area of McBride Avenue and Hughes Place in Woodland Park. A black Honda Odyssey struck a pedestrian walking on the sidewalk and then drove off. The victim, Lillian Zamlout, a 31-year-old female from Woodland Park was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center where she was subsequently pronounced deceased.

This investigation is active and ongoing. More information will be released when it becomes available.
