Last week's arrests and incidents as released by the Secaucus police.
On 08/26/2019 at 7:27 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Home Depot located at 1055 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 60 year old female, Jennifer Bradley of New York, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Totowa, NJ in the amount of $2,500.00, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Bridgewater, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ with no bail attached. Ms. Bradley was further charged with Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Possession of CDS believed to be PCP [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Ms. Bradley was served her complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 08/27/2019 at 12:46 AM, Secaucus Police responded to UPS located at 493 County Avenue on an attempt to take into custody a male who was believed to be employed by UPS who was found to have an outstanding warrant. During the investigation, the police arrested a 26 year old male, Devante Gaskins of Elizabeth, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Elizabeth, NJ with no bail attached. Officer’s from the Elizabeth Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Gaskins for transport back to their agency.
On 08/27/2019 at 2:48 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the LaQuinta Inn located at 350 Lighting Way on a report of a suspicious male found inside a storage room at that location. During the investigation, the police arrested a 41 year old male, Brian Hogarth of Hammonton, NJ for Criminal Trespass [2C:18-3A]. Mr. Hogarth was also found to have 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Camden, NJ in the amount of $150.00. Mr. Hogarth was issued his complaint warrant and transported Mr. Hogarth to the Hudson County Jail.
On 08/29/2019 at 1:35 AM, Secaucus Police observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the area of 1291 Paterson Plank Road. During the investigation, the police arrested a 51 year old male, John Kowalewski of Secaucus, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)]. Mr. Kowalewski was served his complaint warrant along with 1 motor vehicle summons and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On 08/30/2019 at 2:07 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of 1st Street and Flanagan Way on a report of a dispute. During the investigation, the police arrested a 42 year old male, Eric Buesing of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Buesing was able to post bail for the involved warrant and he was subsequently released from police custody.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
