Last week's arrests and incidents as released by the Secaucus police.

On 08/20/2019 at 5:41 PM, Secaucus Police observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking lot of the Royal Motel located at 650 Route 3 West. During the investigation, the police arrested the owner of the vehicle, a 57 year old male, Michael Mckinnon of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $100.00. Mr. Mckinnon was able to post bail for the involved warrant and he was released from police custody.

On 08/20/2019 at 9:00 PM, Secaucus Police observed a motor vehicle accident in the area of 150 Harmon Meadow Boulevard. During the investigation, the police arrested a 33 year old female, Chantal Roshaidat of Bloomfield, NJ for 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Edgewater, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Ms. Roshaidat was unable to post bail for the involved warrants. Officer’s from the North Bergen Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to take custody of Ms. Roshaidat. Ms. Roshaidat was issued 5 motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of the North Bergen Police Department.

On 08/21/2019 at 11:35 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 33 year old male, Ricardo Muniz of Hoboken, NJ for Distribution of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-5B(11)], Distribution of CDS believed to be Ecstasy [2C:35-5B(5)], Distribution of CDS within 500 feet of a Public Park [2C:35-7.1A], Possession of THC Oil [2C:35-10A(4)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2] and Money Laundering [2C:21-25A]. Mr. Muniz was issued his complaint warrant along with 2 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 08/22/2019 at 4:13 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Red Roof Inn located at 15 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of suspicious activity. During the investigation, the police arrested a 46 year old female, Barbara Fontanez of Secaucus, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2] and Possession of a Prescription Legend Drug believed to be Viagra [2C:35-10.5E(1)]. Ms. Fontanez was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 08/23/2019 at 2:09 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of 8th Street and Front Street on a report of a vehicle driving carelessly. During the investigation, the police arrested a 31 years old male, Carlos Loyola-Pinos of Secaucus, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Loyola-Pinos was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with 3 additional motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On 08/23/2019 at 5:15 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 20 year old male, Jeremy Torres of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $100.00. Mr. Torres was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.

On 08/23/2019 at 7:42 PM, Secaucus Police observed a suspicious male in the area of 520 Secaucus Road. During the investigation, the police arrested a 24 year old male, Spencer Perez of Hoboken, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Mr. Perez was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 08/23/2019 at 7:03 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the NJ State Police Barracks to take custody of a 35 year old male, Peter Lyckowski for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Lyckowski was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 08/23/2019 at 10:15 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Hackensack Police Department to take custody of a 59 year old male, Derak Leach of Hackensack, NJ for 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,100.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Belmar, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Mr. Leach was unable to post bail for the involved warrants and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 08/25/2019 at 3:47 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of New County Road and Seaview Drive on a report of a motor vehicle accident. During the investigation, the police arrested a 32 year old male, Jorge Vargas of Secaucus, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Vargas was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with 4 additional motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
