Please join us for our annual Ho-Ho-Kus Community Holiday Celebration, Friday, December 1, 2023

Event highlights include student performances by the Ho-Ho-Kus School Wind Ensemble and Choraliers, holiday songs led by the Girl Scouts, and a very special visit from Santa Claus escorted by the Ho-Ho-Kus Fire Department.

Mayor Thomas Randall will officiate the countdown to the lighting of the Ho-Ho-Kus Christmas Tree and Dreidel. Ho-Ho-Kus PBA #353 will serve cider and doughnuts, and the HHKFD with serve hot chocolate.

The winners of the Ho-Ho-Kus Girl Scouts Gingerbread House contest (the Grand Prize is a gift certificate to the Ho-Ho-Kus Inn!) and the Ho-Ho-Kus Chamber of Commerce Gift Basket (valued at over $500!) will be announced. Please see the attached flyers for more details and information.

The Ho-Ho-Kus Police Department & Ho-Ho-Kus PBA #353 will gratefully accept unwrapped toys for the U.S. Marine Corps “Toys For Tots” foundation. Thank you for your generosity in remembering the children in need.

Don’t forget a luminary bag! Please stop by the Hot Chocolate Bar at the Town Gazebo before the tree lighting between 5-7 pm! The Contemporary Club is sponsoring its 4th Annual “Unite with Light Event” ($20.00 per family). There will be carolers and a holiday photo booth. Later in the evening, light up Ho-Ho-Kus with your luminary bag!

The Cub Scouts will host an Ornament Table at the Community Church following the tree and dreidel lighting. Please stop by! Open to all!

Friday evening is “Holiday Shopping Night” between 4-8 pm. We hope you will visit our shops and restaurants before and after the celebration. Look for the lighted luminaries of participating Ho-Ho-Kus merchants. Organized by the Ho-Ho-Kus Chamber of Commerce.
