Guttenberg Police Blotter - October 16th, 2023 to October 22nd, 2023

1. On October 16th, 2023, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division arrested 34-year-old Didier D. Jimenez-Pachon of North Bergen, NJ, after discovering that he had an active warrant from the Guttenberg Municipal Court. Inside our police headquarters, Mr. Jimenez-Pachon was processed and successfully posted the full bail amount of $750.00. Once complete with his arrest processing, Mr. Jimenez-Pachon was released on his own recognizance, pending a new court date with the Guttenberg Municipal Court.

2. On October 17th, 2023, during a motor vehicle stop, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division arrested 23-year-old Yoshimar Lara of Clifton, NJ, after discovering that he had two active warrants issued by the Clifton Municipal Court. Mr. Lara was then transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. At police headquarters, Mr. Lara was processed and released on his own recognizance, pending his new court date with the Clifton Municipal Court.

3. On October 19th, 2023, during a motor vehicle stop, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division arrested 47-year-old Kimberly Capodagli of Ocean Grove, NJ, after discovering that she had an active warrant issued by the Tinton Falls Municipal Court. Ms. Capodagli was then transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for her arrest processing. Upon the completion of her processing, Ms. Capodagli was released on her own recognizance, pending her new court date with the Tinton Falls Municipal Court.

4. On October 20th, 2023, during a motor vehicle stop, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division arrested 28-year-old Tiffany Y. Hidalgo of West New York, NJ, after discovering she had provided officers with a fake name. During their on-scene investigation, officers uncovered her real name and placed Ms. Hidalgo under arrest for hindering her own apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)]. Upon the completion of her arrest processing, Ms. Hidalgo was issued her complaint summons, various summons for traffic violations, and then released from police custody.

5. On October 21st, 2023, during a motor vehicle stop, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division arrested 61-year-old Milton F. Abad of North Bergen, NJ, for driving while intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Abad was then transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Abad was issued his summons for traffic violations and released from police custody.

6. On October 21st, 2023, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to the 100 block of 69th Street for a report of an unwanted party. During their on-scene investigation, officers arrested 53-year-old Richard Laporte of Bristol, CT, after discovering he had eight active criminal warrants. One issued from the State of Pennsylvania and seven from the Guttenberg Municipal Court. Mr. Laporte was then transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. At police headquarters, Mr. Laporte was charged with being a fugitive from justice [2A:160-10]. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Laporte was issued his complaint warrant and lodged in the Hudson County Correctional Center.

7. On October 22nd, 2023, during a motor vehicle stop, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division arrested 33-year-old Juan C. Camacho-De Jesus of Jersey City, NJ, for driving while intoxicated [39:4-50]. During their onscene investigation, officers also uncovered that Mr. Camacho-De Jesus was in possession of brass knuckles and had an active warrant issued by the Guttenberg Municipal Court. At the Guttenberg Police Department, Mr. Camacho-De Jesus was processed and charged with the unlawful possession of a weapon [2C:39-5D]. Mr. Camacho-De Jesus also posted the full bail amount for the active warrant, in the amount of $550.00. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Camacho-De Jesus was issued his complaint summons, various summons for traffic violations, and then released from police custody.

8. On October 22nd, 2023, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to the 100 block of 70th Street after receiving a report of a verbal dispute. During their on-scene investigation, officers arrested 30-year-old Angel Benitez-Montes of Union City, NJ, after discovering he had an active warrant issued by the Guttenberg Municipal Court. Mr. Benitez-Montes was then transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for his arrest processing. At police headquarters, Mr. Benitez-Montes was able to post the full bail amount of $750.00. Upon the completion of his arrest processing, Mr. Benitez-Montes was released from police custody, pending his new court date with the Guttenberg Municipal Court.
