Secaucus Police Blotter 10/16/2023-10/22/2023

On 10/16/2023 at 8:09 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Passaic County Jail to take into custody a 35-year-old male, Tyreek Jacobs of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Mr. Jacobs was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 10/17/2023 at 3:27 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Hyatt Hotel located at 575 Park Plaza Drive on a report of illicit drugs located in a hotel room. During the investigation, the police arrested a 38-year-old female, Natali Jordanov of Elmwood Park, NJ for Possession with Intent to Distribute CDS believed to be Methamphetamine [2C:35-5B(9)(A)] and Possession with Intent to Distribute Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-3]. Ms. Jordanov was issued her complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 10/18/2023 at 12:50 PM, the Secaucus Police arrested a 65-year-old male, William Doria of Secaucus, NJ for Falsification of a Firearms Application [2C:39-10C]. Mr. Doria was arrested at Secaucus Police Headquarters located at 1203 Paterson Plank Road. Mr. Doria was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 10/19/2023 at 1:49 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 24-year-old male, Angel Bruno of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Stroudsburg, PA with no bail. Mr. Bruno was additionally charged with Being a Fugitive from Justice [2A:160-10]. Mr. Bruno was issued his complaint warrant along with 6 motor vehicle summonses and he was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 10/20/2023 at 7:20 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 37 year old male, John Tabat of Belleville, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(2)]. Mr. Tabat was also found to have 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the Essex County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. The police also arrested a 41 year old male, Ramon Regalado of Jersey City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)], Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(2)] and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information to the police. Mr. Regalado was also found to have 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Both Mr. Tabat and Mr. Regalado were issued their complaint warrants and were subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 10/21/2023 at 5:36 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Best Buy located at 3 Mill Creek Drive on a report of a customer attempting to purchase items by using a fraudulent Identification. During the investigation, the police arrested a 21- year-old female, Makena Ortiz of Jersey City, NJ for Theft of Identity [2C:21-17A(4)], Exhibiting a False Government Document [2C:21-2.1C] and Forgery [2C:21-1A(3)]. The police also arrested a 22-year-old male, Isaiah Antoine of Irvington, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Woodbridge, NJ in the amount of $1,500.00 along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Millburn, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Ms. Ortiz was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody. Mr. Antoine was able to post bail for the warrant issued out of Woodbridge, NJ. The Millburn Police Department did release Mr. Antoine on his own recognizance pending a future court date and he was released from police custody.

On 10/21/2023 at 6:37 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Ashley Furniture located at 3 Mill Creek Drive on a report of an individual using a fraudulent Identification to purchase furniture. During the investigation, the police arrested a 41-year-old male, Benjamin Livermore of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Harrison, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Mr. Livermore was additionally charged with Exhibiting a False Government Document [2C:21-2.1C], Forgery [2C:21-1A(3)], Theft of Identity [2C:21-17A(4)], Money Laundering [2C:21-25A], Utter a Fraudulent Credit Card [2C:21-6C(5)], Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card [2C:21-6H] and Possession of Fraudulent Driver’s License [2C:21-2.1D]. Mr. Livermore was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
