Secaucus Police Blotter 08/05/2019 - 08/11/2019

Last week's arrests and incidents as released by the Secaucus police.

On 08/05/2019 at 9:28 PM, Secaucus Police observed an individual believed to have an outstanding warrant walking in the area of the Maple Street Ramp and Radio Avenue. During the investigation, the police arrested a 24 year old male, Jonathan Castillo of Lyndhurst, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of South Hackensack, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Kearny, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Castillo was unable to post bail. Officer’s from the South Hackensack Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Castillo for transport back to their agency.

On 08/06/2019 at 11:37 AM, Secaucus Police responded to 1 Aquarium Drive on a report of a parking complaint. During the investigation, the police arrested a 26 year old male, Brayan Garcia-Bueso of West New York, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Guttenberg, NJ in the amount of $250.00. Mr. Garcia- Bueso was able to post bail for both warrants and was subsequently released from police custody.

On 08/08/2019 at 2:10 PM, Secaucus Police observed an individual believed to have an outstanding warrant in the area of 1504 Paterson Plank Road. During the investigation, the police arrested a 40 year old male, Jose Rodriguez of Secaucus, NJ for 1 NCIC warrant issued by the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Officer’s from the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Rodriguez for transport back to their agency.

On 08/08/2019 at 6:02 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 19 year old female, Stephanie Genoa-Noboa of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $100.00. Ms. Genoa-Noboa was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 4 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently released from police custody.

On 08/09/2019 at 8:18 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Newark Police Department to take into custody a 24 year old male, Tazmere Montague of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $200.00, along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Basking Ridge, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Bernards, NJ in the amount of $550.00. Mr. Montague was unable to post bail for the involved warrants. Officer’s from Hudson County Sheriff’s Office responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Montague for transport to the Hudson County Jail.

On 08/11/2019 at 8:29 AM, Secaucus Police observed a vehicle parked improperly in the parking lot of 101 Plaza Centre Road. During the investigation, the police arrested a 30 year old male, Altareke Bash of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $250.00. Newark Police Department did release Mr. Bash on his own recognizance. Mr. Bash was served 1 motor vehicle summons and was subsequently released from police custody.

On 08/11/2019 at 9:25 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Candlewood Suites located at 279 Secaucus Road on a report of a suspicious male on the premises. During the investigation, the police arrested a 40 year old male, Gregory Edwards of Bloomfield, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Essex County Sheriff’s Department with no bail. Mr. Edwards was subsequently transported to the Essex County Jail.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
