Hello. This is Mayor Mark Zinna with a Friday news update.
A big thank you to our Police and Recreation teams for making Community Night such a wonderful success this year. Thank you to the members of the Fire, Public Works and Ambulance Corp departments for your support and commitment. And thank you to all our resident volunteers from our committees and the businesses who invest their time and energy to make Community Night a success for everyone.
Enjoy a sweet end of the summer season and join the Nature Center for one of this year's Apple Cider programs on Sunday, September 17th. Learn about the history of apple cultivation and cider making and experience one of the original ways of making fresh, crisp apple cider! Register for this and so much more at TenaflyNC.org
Now through September 23, the Korean Community Center is hosting an art exhibition featuring the beautiful and vibrant paintings of Alan Levine. The gallery, at 100 Grove Street, is open Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm.
The Elks are hosting a community garage sale on September 23rd and 24th from 9 AM to 5 PM. For details on participating please call 201-888-4120. All proceeds go towards children with special needs.
