Traffic Warrant

On 03/16/2023, at 1347 hours, an officer conducted a random plate check on a vehicle traveling on Passaic Avenue. The check revealed two open warrants issued by a neighboring authority. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on Passaic Avenue and the officer spoke to the driver, who was the registered owner. The officer issued a summons for being a suspended driver and released the driver from the scene after giving him new court dates.

On 03/16/2023, at 1741 hours, an officer observed a motor vehicle commit an infraction on Harrison Avenue. A motor vehicle stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver. A computer check was completed on the driver and it was shown that the driver has an outstanding warrant from another jurisdiction. The driver was released after receiving a new court date and summonses for being a suspended driver and the original infraction.
