On December 24, 2022, at 6:46 pm, Millburn Police Officer Griffin responded to Macys at the Mall at Short Hills for a report of shoplifters in custody. Macys associates reported that two females, Rajohnna Walker, age 31, and Nayjah Glover, age 27, both of Newark had concealed $856.00 of merchandise and left the store without paying. Glover and Walker were both placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting and hindering. They were both later released on their own recognizance.

On December 25, 2022 at 10:05 am, Millburn Police Officer Jezewski responded to a West Road residence on a report of burglary to a vehicle. The resident reported that an unknown actor entered their 2022 BMW x5 while driveway. The suspect was described as a light-skinned male, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and a face mask. This incident remains under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On December 25, 2022, at 5:20 pm, Millburn Police Officer Matos responded to CVS on Millburn Ave for a report of theft. CVS associates reported that two individuals, a white female and a black male, concealed $265.21 of shaving supplies and left the store without paying. Responding officers located individuals matching the description on Millburn Ave near Myrtle Ave. Danielle Sadowski, age 39, and Nathaniel Powell, age 48, both of Newark. Powell was charged with shoplifting and Sadowski was charged with CDS offenses. There were both released on thier own recognizance.

On December 28, 2022, at 5:40 pm, Millburn Police Officer Dundon responded to Macys at the Mall at Short Hills for a report of a shoplifter in custody. Macys associates reported that Diego Ramos-Villa, age 29, of Patterson, had concealed $287.00 of merchandise and left the store without paying. Ramos-Villa was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting. He was later released on his own recognizance.

On December 29, 2022 at 8:49 am, Millburn Police Officer Carroll responded to a Noel Drive residence on a report of a residential burglary. The resident reported that unknown actors forced entry into the home and stole numerous items of jewelry, unknown value. This incident remains under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On December 29, 2022 at 5:00 pm, Millburn Police Officer Palmer responded to a Minnisink Road residence on a report of theft of a vehicle. The resident reported that unknown actors stole their 2018 Mercedes E43 from their driveway. The key fob had been left in the vehicle. The vehicle was later recovered in Newark. This incident remains under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On December 31, 2022 at 3:30 am, Millburn Police Officer Lyons responded to a Hartshorn Drive residence on a report of theft of a vehicle. The investigation revealed that two unknown actors entered the home and located the key fob for a 2022 Range Rover that was parked in the driveway. The actors then left the residence with the key and a wallet and stole the Range Rover. The vehicle was later recovered in Newark. This incident remains under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On January 2, 2023 at 7:42 am, Millburn Police Officer Aliotta responded to CVS on Millburn Ave for a report of theft of a vehicle. The owner reported that unknown actors stole her 2019 Mercedes CLS from the parking lot. The vehicle had been left running, unlocked with the keys fob in it for a few minutes when the theft occurred. The vehicle was later recovered in Newark. This incident remains under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On January 2, 2023 at 12:30pm, Millburn Police Officer Matos responded to a Delbarton Drive residence for a report of burglary to a vehicle. The resident reported that unknown black male wearing a bright orange hoodie attempted to enter his BMW while parked the driveway. The male then joined a second black male wearing a white hoodie, entered a waiting White Hyundai and drove off. The investigation revealed that the same actors attempted to enter a vehicle on Kenilworth Drive. This incident remains under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On January 6, 2023 at 2:25 am, Millburn Police Officer Bifano responded to a Kilmer Drive residence for a report of attempted burglary to a residence. The resident reported that unknown black male wearing a dark puffy coat dark pant, and a ski mask attempted to gain entry to his house. At approximately 4:00 am, Officer Wichelns located a suspect matching the description, attempting to flee in an Uber/Lyft. The investigation led to the arrest of a juvenile male, age 16, of South Orange. The juvenile was charged with juvenile delinquency (burglary) and later release to the custody of a parent.

On January 7, 2023 at 9:58 am, Millburn Police Officer Reid responded to a Harsthorn Drive residence for a report of theft of a vehicle. The resident reported that unknown actors stole her 2021 Honda Odyssey from her driveway. She further reported that the vehicle contained the key fob and her purse and that there were attempted use of her credit cards. The vehicle was later located in Livingston. This incident remains under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On January 8, 2023 at 5:29 am, Millburn Police Officers Wichelns and Bifano located a stolen 2020 Acura TLX on White Oak Ridge Road near Hemlock Road. Upon stopping the vehicle, the occupants began to flee. PO Wichlens apprehended two of the males. PO Bifano engaged in a foot pursuit with one male, finally apprehending him by Hartshorn School. The fourth actor was located shortly thereafter hiding in a yard. Asad Pitts, age 20, was charged with receiving stolen property and obstruction. One juvenile, age 17, and two juveniles age 14 were all charged with juvenile delinquency (receiving stolen property). Pitts was later released on his own recognizance and the juveniles were released to family members.

On January 8, 2023 at 6:45 pm Millburn Police Officer Hunt-Miles responded to a Lakeview Ave residence for a report of burglary and theft of a vehicle. The resident reported two unknown males stole his 2021 Mercedes G Wagon from his garage. This incident remains under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

These are accusations. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they enter a guilty plea or are found guilty in a court of law.
