On February 10, 2023, at 8:07 am, Millburn Police Officer Marone responded to Millburn Ave near
Locust Avenue on a report of theft from a person. The victim reported that an unknown black male with
dreadlocks and dark clothing approached her and stole her purse. When she told him to stop, he
slapped her in the face and ran to a waiting vehicle, which fled the area eastbound on Millburn Ave.
Detectives Royce and DeRosa later discovered that the suspect vehicle was a 2021 Kia Sportage, stolen
out of Newark and recovered in East Orange. This incident remains under investigation by the Millburn
Police Detective Bureau.
On February 10, 2023, at 4:00 pm, Millburn Police Officer Kelly responded to a Canoe Brook Road
residence on a report of burglary to vehicles. The resident reported that sometime overnight, both of
her vehicles were entered while parked in her driveway, unlocked. The actors stole Gucci Sunglasses
and an EZpass. This incident remains under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
On February 12, 2023 at 4:34 am, Millburn Police Detective DeRosa and Officer Jezewski located two
suspicious Hyundai vehicles on Great Hills Road. Once the drivers saw the police, they sped off. Shortly
after, several occupants bailed out of both cars on Great Hills Road, near Farbrook Drive. Officers
Recinos and Lanni located one of the occupants, a male, age 13 of Irvington, and a second male, age 14
of Union, was located in Livingston by Livingston Police. The investigation revealed that both of the
vehicles were stolen out of Newark. Both juveniles were taken into custody, charged with juvenile
delinquency (receiving stolen property) and released to parents. This incident remains under
investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
On February 13, 2023, Millburn Police Officer Larcom responded to a Winding Way residence on a
report of theft. The resident reported that at 10:10 am unknown actors stole a package from their
porch containing and IPhone, value $999.00. The investigation revealed a suspect described as light
skinned male, wearing grey sweatshirt and pants and a black t-shirt over his head. This incident remains
under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
On February 18, 2023, at 714 pm, Millburn Police Officer Carroll responded to Gucci at the Mall at Short
Hills for a report of shoplifting. Gucci associates reported that a white male, age 70 to 80, wearing a dark
hat and coat concealed a pair of sunglasses, value $595, and left the store without paying. This incident
remains under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
On February 22, 2023 at 7:25 pm, Millburn Police Officer Manuyag responded to a Keats Road residence
on a report of residential burglary alarm. Upon arrival, officers discovered forced entry to the home
through a second floor rear window. The investigation revealed that unknown suspects entered the
home, ransacked several bedrooms and other areas, and stole an undetermined amount of jewelry and
cash. This incident remains under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
On February 23, 2023, at 3:46 pm, Millburn Police Officer Manuyag responded to Nordstrom at the Mall
at Short Hills for a report of shoplifting. Nordstorm associates reported that Jonathan Delva, age 20, of
Hillside concealed $171 of merchandise and attempted to leave the store without paying. Delva was
arrested and charged with shoplifting. He was later released on his own recognizance
On February 24, 2023, at 7:05 pm, Millburn Police Officers Larcom and Bifano responded to Walgreens
for a report of shoplifting. Walgreens associates reported that an unknown male loaded $287 of
merchandise into a cart and left the store without paying. The actor placed the merchandise into a 2001
Honda CRV and left the area. Detective Royce located the suspect vehicle on Morris Ave in Union and
initiated a motor vehicle stop. Michael Corleone, age 60, of Union, was arrested and charged with
shoplifting. He was later released on his own recognizance.
On February 25, 2023, at 12:13 pm, Millburn Police Officer Carroll responded to Sephora at the Mall at
Short Hills for a report of shoplifting. Sephora associates reported that Isabella Kolodny-Kraft, age 22, of
Morristown concealed $1166 of cosmetics and attempted to leave the store without paying. KolodnyKraft was arrested and charged with shoplifting. She was later released on her own recognizance
On February 26, 2023 at 5:53 am, Millburn Police Officer Aliotta responded to a Dorset Lane residence
on a report of residential burglary. The resident was away and reported that his alarm was showing an
open door. Upon arrival, officers found an unlocked rear door. The investigation revealed that unknown
actors entered the home and ransacked the bedrooms. The actors stole an undetermined amount of
jewelry, cash along with a Sig Sauer handgun. This incident remains under investigation by the Millburn
Police Detective Bureau.
On February 26, 2023 at 8:10 pm, Millburn Police Officers Lanni, Carroll, and Aliotta responded to a
Hamilton Road residence on a report of residential burglary. The investigation revealed that unknown
suspects entered the home through an unlocked door, ransacked several bedrooms and other areas,
and stole an undetermined amount of jewelry and cash. This incident remains under investigation by
the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
On February 27, 2023, at 4:19 pm, Millburn Police Officer Kelly responded to Gucci at the Mall at Short
Hills for a report of shoplifting. Gucci associates reported that two unknown black males cut the security
cable and concealed Gucci bag, value $4,400, and left the store without paying. This incident remains
under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
These are accusations. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they enter a guilty plea or
are found guilty in a court of law.
