OVERVIEW

Learn directly from industry experts who will share the tools and strategies needed to move your idea from concept to reality. You will also gain the expertise to develop a solid business plan and prepare to sell your consumer packaged goods (CPG) food and beverage product at wholesale and retail.

Our Food Business Bootcamp course is a multi-day, hybrid event starting with an in-person session on Saturday, February 1st and followed by virtual sessions every Wednesday throughout the month.

On Saturday, March 1st topics covered will include:

  • CPG Food Product Concept Development
  • Brand Development & Marketing
  • Pricing Your CPG Food Product for Profitability
  • Food Business Operations & Sales

This session includes a light breakfast, lunch, snacks, networking and the opportunity to tour our commercial kitchen.

Our virtual sessions take place every Wednesday from 1:00-2:30 PM and will cover:

  • March 5th: Food Law Part I- Licensing, Labeling & Marketing, and Food Safety
  • March 12th: Food Law Part II - Intellectual Property (Trademarks, Copyrights, Patents, and Trade Secrets)
  • March 19th: Funding Your Food Business
  • March 26th: Hiring Employees and Consultants for your Food Business

    All virtual sessions will be recorded.

Djenaba is the founder & CEO of Hudson Kitchen and creator of the Food Business BootcampⓇ. She founded Hudson Kitchen after working in business development at some of the biggest media brands for over 15 years. The creation of the Bootcamp and Hudson Kitchen came out of Djenaba’s own experience of facing countless obstacles when planning to launch her own food business.
